- Being a mentor only requires four hours a month. "Everyone should be a involved in the life a child that is not your own or some way to help out".
- There are also "e-mentors" - mentoring by e-mail.
- Get involved in the local scene. Put political pressure on changing local schools.
- Check out the organizations in every state that are fighting for change, innovation and choice.
