A 13-year old daughter is doing homework on-line.
Mom walks in. Sees her watching a video when "supposed" to be doing homework.
"Whatcha doin'?" Mom asks in a sing-song, non-accusatory voice so as not to start a possible
"gotcha" rift, especially since it actually may be something assigned for homework.
Daughter answers, "Taking a break from homework and feeding my brain."
Mom is guessing that taking a break from homework probably means watching a spoof on you-tube, music video or Skyping friends.
Then she processes the phrase " . . . feeding my brain."
"Can I watch?" asks the Mom.
The video below is what the daughter was watching.
(Bear with the first 10 shaky seconds . . . the 1:30 mark gets cool.)
This is your brain on homework. Or, is it?
The flipped class = flipped homework
