Why don't these infographics ever put Canada in the comparison? We're just up the road, we have very similar demographics, two major languages, and a similar history. Oh, and we're right up there with places like Finland and Sngapore... which, I guess, leave the U.S. out of excuses.



Your info-graphic fails to compare the US' educational attainment in one very important aspect: foreign language acquisition. Coincidentally, foreign languages are also omitted from the Common Core Standards. Due to this glaring deficiency, our students will remain less educated than their foreign counterparts even if they succeed in scoring higher in math, science and reading, graduate as engineers, doctors and teachers, earn $104,000, and vote.
