Not sure this is a lesson, but agree that it does show the frustrations shared by students and teachers about learning, whether it is about what is learned (content) and the context (learning today within the new contexts of the world - tech, global, etc..
As far as parodies are concerned, by the time students reach middle school, they are so entrenched with the concept of parody from You Tube - unless they are Luddites - maybe adults should learn lessons from them, not the other way around. - C.J.
