"All children must be treated with dignity"
"You cannot address bullying without addressing homophobia"
                                                                   -- Rosalind Wiseman, author

On CNN, check out the debate with Anderson Cooper, who is hosting a week-long special "Bullying: No Escape" special at 10PM ET  Anderson Cooper's AC360:

On the hot seat was Tom Prichard representing the Minnesota Family Council, who "is opposed to introducing curriculum into the school which promotes same sex marriage and same sex behavior"  even though he "is against all forms of bullying".

At the two minute mark, Rosalind Wiseman, author of "Queen Bees & Wannabes, asserted she has been addressing this issue for twenty years:  bullying programs in school must include concrete content, not just generalities.  Wiseman also said she has not received pushback on this topic from the most conservative and/or evangelical groups . . . (5:00 mark).

Check out Cooper at the 3:20 mark confronting Prichard about talking about "what's real" as opposed to connecting bullying with homophobia as "promoting" and "endorsing" and "encouraging"  homosexuality.

Cooper will host a town hall Friday focusing on the the bullying epidemic facing gay teens.  Guests will include Phil McGraw and Rosalind Wiseman at press time.
