We love this story.  Why do most schools look like left-over military bases?   So griege - a cross between biege and gray.

Or, just so colorless?

From Fast Company magazine, Paula Scher, from Pentagram, one of FC's Top Innovative Design Firms, takes a "biege middle school" in Brooklyn and transforms it into something vibrant . . . just like education should be.  Oh, that's right, education "should be" serious.

This unique article makes me find that people have to take far more attention of themselves and each other.

For most of my career, I was an awful listener in almost every possible way. I was arrogant throughout my 30s for sure--maybe into my early 40s. My conversations were all about some concept of intellectual winning and "I'm going to prove I'm smarter than you."
